As an Ayuvedic Health Practitioner and Health Coach, I don't like the band aid approach. The sources of fatigue should be tended to daily. So please promise yourself that you will just use these fixes once in a while. Make the promise because a quick fix is not as good as the real thing.
- Make sure you are hydrated with water or herbal teas. Caffeine is a diuretic and juice requires digestion, so they do not give your body the fluid that you need.
- Get up and move. Take a five or ten minute walk, or do a few stretches. People sit too much and the body's circulation and flow becomes slow. The movement will naturally enhance body function.
- Inhale peppermint. It is a natural stimulant that will awaken your senses and clear your head.
- Back away from the computer and the smart phone. The blue light emitted from these devices affects our body's rhythm and flow. Our bodies need to take a break, so they can reset and rest. Try to get a little fresh air or sit by a window. You will feel clearer and more focused after the break.
Stay healthy & well,
Lisa
