Clean Your Breathing Air

When we think of pollution and contaminants, we think of things like industrial factories and automobile exhaust fumes. Yet, there is another form of pollution that we are exposed to daily in our homes. This is in the forms of chemicals that are used in everything from furniture manufacturing, building insulation, home cleaning products, paints, pesticides and more. It is impossible to escape the number of chemicals that we are exposed to daily. However, we can take action to reduce some of this contamination. The first step is to open windows and allow air flow. This may not be appropriate in certain urban areas or climates. Mechanical ventilation units can clean the indoor air, but they are expensive and require maintenance.
There is a new, natural way to accomplish the purification of indoor air, and this method is inexpensive as well. It is the indoor house plant. Plants such as English Ivy, Purple Waffle Plant, Asparagus Fern, Purple Heart Plant and many others purify the air by reducing contaminants and producing oxygen. You can purchase these plants at Lowe's, Home Depot or your local gardening store. Plants are an easy solution to a complex problem.
Stay healthy & well,
Lisa
